Hallowe’en Party!

Next Thursday, October 22nd is the field trip to the Frog Hollow Pumpkin Patch.  The children will be coming back to school at approximately 11:30 a.m.  with pumpkins they have chosen from the patch.

After lunch, we will have our Hallowe’en party!  We will set up pumpkin carving, so the children can scoop out and carve their pumpkins and we can save the seeds to roast, share pot-luck snacks, wear costumes and have some fun!

It may seem a bit early for our party, but it ties in nicely with the pumpkin patch field trip, and the following Thursday, October 29th, is the next offering of the Science World home learners program.  Some of our students will be attending that program in the afternoon, so will be away  (more on that Science World later as I am attempting to set up a system with them so you can check in and not worry about payment).

We have some students in our program who have gluten allergies, but  no other allergies that I am aware of.  Please email me if your child has an allergy I am unaware of.  For their sake, please label the key ingredients of the potluck items that you bring.  At this point that would simply mean labelling your dish “gluten” or “non-gluten.”
