On Wednesday, February 16th at 10:00 a.m. the Home Learners are booked to see the VSO Primary performance of  “Tovey’s Travels.”  Journey with Maestro Tovey and the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra on a whistle-stop tour of the world. Share the Maestro’s musical memories, by seeing the sights and hearing the sounds of his international travels.

We will meet at the corner of Smythe and Seymour and enter as a group at 9:40 a.m.  The area around the Orpheum Theatre is always very busy and chaotic prior to a school concert with school buses, heavy vehicle and pedestrian traffic and excited children, so please keep this in mind when planning your travel time to the concert.  If you arrive after 9:40 a.m., please proceed into the theatre and look for our group in the lower balcony area.

The cost per ticket is $6.50 and will be booked on a first-come, first served basis according to signed field trip forms submitted.  Forms are in your files.

The primary concert is always the best of the two yearly concerts the VSO performs for schools!
