“Teacher Shannon” has been selected as one of 6 Canadian Teachers to provide workshops to Ugandan Teachers for the month of July.  The other 5 Canadian Teachers are all from Ontario!  As part of my commitment to the Jane Goodall Institute, I must raise $2500.  for the Institute prior to July, and must present on the Institute, the training in Uganda, the work that is going on there, and my experiences to groups and school groups during the fall.

In addition, I have contacted Mr. Gilbert Okenye, the teacher of our sister class in Nairobi, and will be traveling to meet him in Kenya!  Perhaps I will meet some of the students of our sister class as well?
