Thursday, September 27th Garibaldi Home Learners will be joining the mainstream student body and teachers of Garibaldi Annex for the annual Terry Fox Run.

We are scheduled to be at the PNE Amphitheatre at 9:30 a.m. for the start of the event.  All Home Learners are welcome to join us for the event.  Tuesday/Thursday students staying for the remainder of the day with us are invited to walk back to Garibaldi with the Teachers and the student body.

The event starts with a welcome from organizers and a group warm-up at 9:30 a.m.   We all then walk or run the route for 15 minutes, then enjoy refreshments before returning to school. The event ends at 10:15 a.m.

If you are driving your child there and/or wish to park at the PNE for the event, please enter through Gate 9, which is adjacent to the Start/Finish area at the Amphitheatre.  Please proceed to the Garibaldi Annex sign and find Shannon and/or Juliana to check in. 

If you would like to drop your child off at the school early (Tuesday/Thursday students only) to walk with teachers and students to the PNE,  please drop them off at the undercover playground area, which is supervised, no later than 8:55 a.m.
