Our students, especially the Intermediates, are very excited about the Summer Reading Challenge!  They have been telling me about the stories and virtual awards they have been unlocking on the Summer Reading Challenge site as they accumulate minutes!

To date – and we are only a week into the challenge – our Home Learners have read a whopping total of  4243 minutes!  Awesome!  For parents to know – I have special certificates I will be giving each student who participates at the end of the challenge, in September.  Hopefully the certificates will provide a little extra added incentive to those students who value such things and you are most welcome to mention (or not!) this to your child.
