Next week, on Wednesday, November 20th and on Thursday, November 21, the Home Learners are booked to join  mainstream Beaconsfield classes to go ice skating at  the Trout Lake ice rink.  The cost is $5.00 per student  or $4.00 per student if they have their own ice skates.  This excursion must be paid in cash as allotments cannot be used for this event.  Field Trip Consent Forms are in everyone’s folders and must be signed before a child can skate. Any child without a signed consent form will sit on the bleachers with one of the supervising teachers.

On Wednesday, November 20th, the Primaries can be dropped off to meet me at the Trout Lake ice rink any time between 9:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.  Skating will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.  Following our skating session, we will all walk back to Beaconsfield, so please ensure your child is dressed appropriately and ready to walk to school.  It is cold in the ice rink, so please remember to pack mittens, a scarf and a hat if you have them.
