Looking for a fun way to stay on top of current events?

Check out The Week in Rap – Current Events in Hip Hop. The Week in Rap highlights the most recent news (keep in mind this is a U.S. site) using video and hip-hop lyrics in an entertaining and engaging way.  The idea for this project is the brainchild of two young college grads; Alex Rappaport and Black Harrison.  They were looking for a way to make learning for students fun.  The goal of their project is to get students excited about current events by presenting major stories and events in an entertaining and unique way.  Their music is credible and professional and they are dedicated to providing the site free to students and teachers!  Goodbye Newshour, hello Week in Rap!!
