It is with mixed emotions that I write this post today.  The party is over and all the children are off enjoying the summer.  The classroom is stripped of the art and decorations that transformed the room into the embodiment of the personalities and the learning that went on here this year. 

This has been a year of new beginnings for me and for all the students and families in the program.  Literally and figuratively.  I want to thank all the families who took that leap of faith with me and who understood that undertaking any new endeavour meant struggles and challenges along the way, patience and perseverance and, of course, much laughter, joy and celebration!
