We have two field trips fast approaching:  Arvaarluk  and The Ugly Duckling/Tortoise and The Hare productions happening the week of November 25th.

On Wednesday, November 27th, we are going to Axis Theatre/Lightwire Theater’s production of The Ugly Duckling/Tortoise and The Hare.  Lined with electroluminescent wire, well-known characters illuminate the darkened stage and warm audiences’ hearts. Lightwire Theater, with its dazzling visuals, poignant choreography and creative use of music ranging from classical to jazz to pop, literally brings these beloved tales into a new and brilliant light.

On Thursday, November 28th, we will be attending Arvaarluk:  An Inuit Tale.   We are reading Michael Kusugak’s books in class in anticipation of this event.
