On February 8th, Garibaldi Home Learners are booked to attend the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s Elementary School Concert featuring Peter and the Wolf.  The concert starts at 10:00 a.m. and ends at 11:00 a.m. 

In  preparation for this concert, in class we will be reading various versions of the story, listening to the music to learn to identify the various parts, and working on activities related to the music and the story. 

We have booked a block of 30 tickets which are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with registered students taking priority over adults and siblings if a waiting list develops.  The sign-up sheet is on the parents’ table and the forms are in everyone’s files.  The cost is $6.00 per person.
