For students and families who will be attending on Thursday, May 7th, there will be a district-wide earthquake drill on May 7th at 2:00 p.m.  Following the drill, there will be a full, formal release of students to the caregivers named on their emergency contact forms.  Please be at school at 2:20 p.m. to pick up your child from the lower field, outside.  Please do not attend earlier or expect to participate in the drill, and please stay clear of the field and school exits if you are on the school site earlier than 2:20 p.m.  This is an important drill for the students learning, so we need the students to be paying attention to the school staff and not to other adults.  Also, please do not expect to go into the school after you have picked up your child as all staff have assigned duties during the drill and must stay outside for the drill and cannot go inside to open doors, retrieve items, meet with parents, etc.
