Canada Post provides a program for schools every year in which students write individual letters to Santa in class and teachers then send the letters free of charge.  All letters are replied to individually and sent back to the school.  This is a fun writing activity for the class.  I will be doing this with the primary students in the next week and promise to photocopy the letters for parents and put them in your files!
